Flips was created by two Dads, Gary and Paul, who noticed their young daughters vast collection of hair bands were always scattered about. Hair bands on the vanity, on the floor, in the car. It seemed like they were everywhere!

Thinking to themselves, there has to be a much more practical and economical way for a young girl to be a fashionista.

In a moment, they realized how cool it would be if you could have only one hair band and lots of covers to accessorize each outfit and not have to spend a lot for each one. Thus Flips was born.

Flips is more than just about the practicalities of accessorizing. Its fun and functional fashion. Its about young girls who are entering that stage of life where they are beginning to develop their own style and assert their own decisions. It's about celebrating the emerging independence and individuality of young girls everywhere.

And, it doesn't hurt that there is less clutter.
